This editorial says <I>Ask Schofield about any issue, and he sees both sides of it.</I> But consider a different take on that, published by the TAB in <A HREF="http://www.townonline.com/allston/opinion/x24597858" REL="nofollow">Mark Trachtenberg's June 29 column</A>. The column described Schofield's response to an important question about the BRA as <I>talking around the issue</I> and concluded <I>Hey, Tim, everybody knows you’re a very smart guy. Do your homework and take a firm stand.</I><BR/><BR/>Furthermore, the editorial commends Schofield for his involvement (after running unsuccessfully for state rep) in the Ward 21 Democratic Committee and Brighton-Allston Bicentennial Committee. Sure, except I prefer candidates who got involved in the community first, then ran to represent it.<BR/><BR/>The way I see it, what Allston-Brighton needs is a city councilor who has shown the courage to stand up for the best interests of the community and this endorsement doesn't describe the best candidate for that job.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
