Globe questions conflicts in BC approval

Officials' ties to BC cloud expansion debate - The Boston Globe

  1. The body of the article basically discounts any real bias on the part of Councillor Ciommo or John Bruno or Minihane. As it points out astutely, it's unlikely that none of the TF members would have any ties to BC. They've been upfront about it the whole time it looks like. The only person they could get to call it bias was Alex Selvig as usual. He represents a very small sliver of the community, as his past election results exemplify. The headline of the article does not really represent the piece imo.

What sliver does Selvig represent? I'm curious who is behind that dude. I just remember some email scandal from his last election attempt.

OK I read the article, did Ciommo make this clear to people in the BC task force?

Is this Selvig dude a commie? Sounds like he's just some loser who got smoked when he ran for public office and won't give it up. Sad, really.

Well, caring about your built environment used to make you a racist, I guess now it could make you a commie. Selvig doesn't fit in, he's not making his money in the government or on the academic side.

  8. Ok, I don't like Selvig's stand either, but please refrain from calling him or others a commie. That's just stupid.
