An urban paradox in Oak Square - The Boston Globe
In a brutal economy that has crippled sophisticated nonprofit groups, a cadre of volunteers from an unpretentious neighborhood find themselves a foundation grant or two shy of pulling off a redevelopment deal that represents the best of urban life.
I made a comment in the Globe article about the Mayor giving $400K to the foundation yet is closing the Oak Square library.
ReplyDeleteSaveOurLibrary said that I am very negative.
I was under the impression that the library was an important part of the program. I thought my comment was legitimate.
I would like to apologize to the people I offended.
Just for the record, my company did make a donation to the fund.
