Word is filtering in that the venerable Brighton steak place, named for the area's beefy past, has gone to that great cattle drive in the sky.

    Brighton’s beloved Stockyard restaurant has closed its doors, yet it remains unclear today if the steakhouse will reopen or has been sold to new owners.
