Send Shopping Carts Back Home

Is anyone else tired of seeing abandoned shopping carts all over the neighborhood? The more often Shaw's and Stop & Shop hear that we aren't going to accept this, the more likely they are to send someone out to pick them up. Call and talk to the store manager at:

    At the Porter Square Shaw's, shopping carts are fit with special devices that lock up the wheels as soon as you try to take them out of the parking lot. Sounds like your local stores need to invest in this technology.

    The Shaw's on Commonweath Ave. DOES have the devices that lock the wheels when the cart nears the door! You can't even take the cart effectively to the parking lot (but there is a nice pickup facility under the store if you did bring a car).
