That's a lot of dough for cramped-together, uninspired architecture surrounded with very little dirt, no trees and lots of black top.
ReplyDeleteI was inside the "home" next to the fence. It is okay, but not worth $500,000 and I told the realtor that. Why pay $500,000 for half a house with no front or back yard when for another $100,000 you can buy a 2-family. Also, everyone has to park behind the triple decker on Weitz Street which is directly behind the one next to the fence. I happened to go in it in September and it was a hot day in the afternoon. I could only imagine how hot it will get in July at high noon. It will be so hot you could fry an egg on the back porch, which, by the way, the wood was already starting to split on the railings. The realtor also told me that grass was supposed to be all around the houses except for the blacktop in back. the blacktop front walk is hideous and if anybody did purchase one, I would tell them that the blacktop has to go before I would sign a P & S. At least the high is at 35'. Caviat emptor!!!
