Yecch, sorry to see that. Down here in Roslindale, they did a great job - there was at least one plow in the middle of the night and around 8, a sand/salt truck came by.
ReplyDeleteRoyce Rd in Allston was still untouched this morning. Harvard Ave and Comm Ave last night were a complete disaster: 4-6 inch puddles of freezing water over most of the sidewalk, especially at driveways and intersections. They REALLY need to clear around curb cuts and let the water drain. It's like this EVERY year...
ReplyDeleteIt also doesn't help that businesses such as the 7-11, Exxon, Citgo and Boston VW do absolutely nothing to clear the walks around them. I'm tired of risking my life when I'm forced to walk in North Harvard St. or Western Ave. because of this...
ReplyDeleteYes, I agree with the comment about uncleared sidewalks. Is there somewhere to call about this? I'd prefer to complain to an official *before* I break my tailbone rather than after.
