City Council at-large candidates

Talking Politics - Comings and Goings

Sometimes it can be easy to forget, but here in Allston and Brighton we are also represented at City Hall by 4 at-large councilors. Here is who is running for those seats, courtesy of the Phoenix.

"Nine potential candidates have submitted signatures for at-large, including the four incumbents. The elections office has not gotten to all of them yet, so we don't know yet if they'll all qualify, but the challengers to incumbents Felix Arroyo, Michael Flaherty, Steve Murphy, and Sam Yoon are John Connolly of West Roxbury (repeat candidate); William Estrada of East Boston; Matthew Geary of Dorchester; Martin Hogan of Dorchester (by way of Southie); and David James Wyatt of Roxbury."

  1. This is sure to be a challenging race. Out of all the incumbents, Sam Yoon’s my pick. I see him as a bridge builder between the others currently in office.

There are 9 candidates running for City Council At Large, however, only one truly believes in community and protecting the good residents and that is Marty Hogan. He has for the past two years been building relationships with communities throughout Boston. I hope more people see that he is for the good hardworking people that make this city great. Here is his web site in case you find yourself wanting to know more about his campaign.
